Lance Armstrong's War

OK, I know that I am a poser for buying this book! but it was only $18.88 at Wal-Mart and I DID do 100 miles! :)
Of course I'll keep you updated and let you know if it was worth the money!
Something funny happened to me yesterday... I have a Polar Heatrate monitor the S610 and I have NEVER had any problems with it... and I have never cleaned it since I have had it. Well I decided that it deserved a good cleaning! so I did, and now the thing doesn't work! :(

I have had one of those chep ol' A-1 polars for like 3 years now and I have never had a problem with it. I have actually thought about buying another HRM but I was come to the conclusion that the one I have now does everything I want, gives my excersise time, my heart rate, my calories burned and some other things taht I don't ever use, so why would I want to buy a more expensive one? It isn't woth the money for me.

get the latest one! I have the 720 and it rocks, I did have to replace the heartrate strap and sensor, but I actually use mine a lot, other than that, its been fantastic. Being able to look at cadence compared to speed, watts, and heartrate tells you so much!!

Damn Ed I swear to God dude if I didn't think that you were a cool guy I would totally wage war all over your face. Anyways you are right though I guess you can't miss what you never had but for those of us who arn't materialistic a-holes the A-1 will suit. i am really too lazy to keep track of all the functions taht a truly high-tech HRM has.
