We all know that kick stands went out of style a while back... so how do you post a good picture of your bike for www.bikejournal.com ? :)
Also I have recently discovered that more people come to this site than I thought... so feel more than free to respond to a post!
That is NOT my bike by the way! :)
There are four reasons kick stands went out of style...
- Weight plays a big role
- Aerodynamics
- It can be dangerous if it comes down while you are riding
- and number 4 it makes you look like a n00b! :)

ReplyDeleteC'mon, man. Don't worry so much about what other people think. If you can't get the bike to stand up against a fence or with a pedal propped on a curb, use the kickstand and save your paint.
