RE: Vegas

Went home for a couple of days for some needed R&R!
Just flew out this afternoon and I am here in Vegas "again."  If anyone wants to visit me while I am here, I have a decently sized room... you would only have to pay for airfare ;)

The deal is that I will be here until Sunday then it's off to Hawaii for the Honolulu Marathon.  That should be pretty fun.  I do not know how long I will be staying, I "might" just stay an extra week as a personal vacation, I will play it by ear to see what happens!

Philly to Vegas Pics --

Here are the pics that I promised... these are mostly pics from Philly to Vegas as the title says ;)

I probably shouldn't post all of these Vegas pics since I am going back in a couple of days!  :)
But.. it is where I spent my Thanksgiving.

The second to last pic is for BikeDrool, I know that he'll appreciate that!
I spend some time with some friends... too bad I forgot my camera "not like me!"  but, it has to happen sometime!

Philly Teaser

Found this pic that was e-mailed to me

I'm such a wuss when it comes to the cold weather!  But even peeps from "Wyoming" complained that it was really really cold!
I am in the Vegas airport right now on my way home to Texas for a couple of days.... YES!!!!  Some warm air "finally!"

Philly to Vegas

I have pics from the Philadelphia Marathon.  Right now I am on the road though making myself across the country one mile at a time.
I will be in Vegas today and will probably spend it there.  I get a couple of days off to go back home and see my family, friends, and dogs  :)
After my small break I will fly back to Vegas for the Marathon.  Afterwards I will be flying out to Honolulu, Hawaii for the Marathon.  I get some days to myself after then event there also, so I basically have no reason NOT to have any cool pics while I am there!

Something for the Weekend

I know that I am a little behind, but I've been pretty busy.  After the Richmond, VA Marathon I was able to find a way to head to my home town.  Always know your roots I say!
I don't truly have a place to call home since I was born a military brat and spent 17 years in "involuntarily."
There are TONS of pics... so I will probably only post a few and if you care to look at my flickr account that will probably be your best bet!
For the Richmond Marathon there was an after concert... it was "The Alex Band"

Below are a lot pics from one of the places I call home... Havelock, NC.

This is only a small amount of the pictures that I have uploaded to flickr and uploaded to my blog...
The majority of them are from "Tryon Palace" "For Macon" "New Bern" and Havelock, NC.

Now that you are done playing around... can I have my camera back now please?

Richmond, VA

here are a couple of nice pics from Richmond, VA
I am still here and probably will not leave until sunday'ish..
It's a slower expo, so my counter partner and I have had some extra time "yes"

Above:  This is my weak attempt to keep up with Sager and his nature photos!

Above:  Yes, this is a train track... so I basically got off of it as fast as I got on it!
Below:  I uploaded the pics last night that I was going to blog about today!  So a few smart guys already jumped onto my scheme of where I was going to go with this one!
You can click on the picture so see what other's are saying ;)

And YES... that's why I took this picture... btw... "they taste great!"

My Day Off...

I just did some random running... I have a close friend that told me "JFR"  I've been taking his advice for the past couple of months and I have to admit that it's been pretty fun.
My biggest problem is that I am basically in a new town everyday and a new city every weekend.
Well I've been just running and have found it to be pretty fun!  This morning I ran across a bridge where the trees covered it like a robe of different colored leaves, as I jogged across it, the small river flowed slowly with the perfect amount of color floating on top, not saturating the "perfect" scenery.

After my jog I got online and found a local dinner theater.

I can easily say that it was worth every penny... although they called it a "dinner" theater, it actually started at 11:30.  So after it finished I was basically on the prowl again for more food before my extremely long day tomorrow.
My day starts at 7:30a.m. in the morning and will probably end sometime around 10p.m., which by now it's no big deal because I have grown used to it.

here are some left over pics from NYC:

Sometimes I like to turn off my gps and get lost on purpose, and then lo and behold I look to my right and I am in ChinaTown... granted it's spelled wrong, but you get the point ;)

NYC Marathon Finished

Ok, I am officially done with the NYC Marathon just like Lance and Kate.
Here are some pics of things that we do when we are tired and have free time!
Here are two rots guarding a car lot... Robby thinks that he's the dog whisperer!

He also thinks it's cool to ride around the expo on a Micro Scooter!

Sometimes while loading up the "unions" are always busy fighting and arguing... so we are left with no choice but to keep ourselves entertained.

That's the PowerBar reps shrink wrapping "other" sponsors! haha

Above:  Its the pearl izumi guy, I wasn't going to post this pic... but he made fun of me for having a blog!
As always we hung out with some friends... new city, same peeps.

Then I hung out with some new peeps.

Below:  This one is for the hardcore hockey fans!

Chris Carmichael  "Lance Armstrong's Coach" in case you did not get this one ;)
Anyway...
I got you guys a big gift.

It's a big balloon from the big apple.

Our duties are done here, and off to the next town...
Richmond, Virginia to be exact.
