If the gas prices don't stop rising, this is what normal folk will be considering in the future... for us cyclists, we wish that it would already happen! ;)

Todays Run...

went really well, I ran 3 miles for 26 minutes and 15 seconds. While I was out on the track I saw a "rabbit" or a guy to chase, I got out run so hard it was like I was standing still & my shirt was so soaked in sweat I struggled to take it off :(

Just an ordinary ride...

gone pretty crazy!
Today I couldn't ride with my usual riding partner and won't be able to for the whole week. I most likely will be replacing the early morning rides with early morning runs. I truly hate to ride by myself, and by myself that early in the morning "wheres the motivation!?"
I did although get to ride this morning because I received a call from Jeff and he was willing to ride early... it was SUPPOSE to be an ordinary ride.
This ride turned crazy for two reasons:

• An attack dog literally jumped out of the bushes like a professional S.W.A.T.
• And a truck hauling a tracker trailer decided that it would be a good idea to pull out in front of me while I was doing a small interval. The bed of the truck could literally be touched as it passed by me!

Oh well, the things we put up with! and we STILL go out and ride another day!

The Team Ride...

Team Saturday Ride...

was actually pretty fun! weird to say but everyone went out super hard... and came back at a realistic pace (we all worked together!)

Thursdays Morning Ryde...

OK, for those of you that don't know... Jeff got a new bike, Sal got a new bike, James bought a new frame, Manny bought a new bike, and two of my friends right now are asking for me to get them new bikes. Is it time for me buy a new bike?!

Yesterday I was asked to join a meeting about the webpage with Ed,Letty, and her husband Oscar. It seemed to go pretty well and it sounds like it will be up again! :)

Sundays Adventure...

Saturday I didn't have a chance to ride because I had to work over the weekend... none the less I had an opportunity to ride on Sunday.
Not only did I get a chance to ride on Sunday but I actually got my brother to use his bike too! :)



The last picture of the house, there is a man sitting on top. While the truck drove by, his job was to move power lines out of the way with a 4x4 while the truck was moving!

Snakes... Running... & Bikes! "oh MY"

Yesterday after I finished my morning ride I went to my back yard to go bring the trash can from the back to the front... to my surprise, on my back patio was sitting a small snake! People who know me, know that I hate snakes! small, medium, or big. I used to care about snakes from watching animal planet and all those shows like the Crocodile Hunter. But ever since I kept running into rattlesnakes out on their territory while mountain biking, well... let's just say that I now have a new found respect for that type of reptile.

Today I did NOT ride in the morning :(

I was unable to ride because I had a Health Fair to attend, but that's ok I went for a jog 1.5 miles in 12 minutes, I don't know if that is good or not so someone leave a comment and let me know. In the afternoon though, my friend Jeff called me up and reminded me that I didn't ride in the morning so that I could ride in the afternoon ;)

Monday Morning Ride

Today I felt a lot better after the beat down from Saturdays' morning ride with the team. I rode early this morning with one of the guys that let me suck his wheel the whole time, & gave up his power gel so that I could crawl back to where all the pain began ;)







This is a view from the top of the bus stations parking garage... a few friends of mine showed it to me when the night rides were around.
In South Texas this is about the highest you can get on your bike ;)

This Morning

Usually I would want to ride in the mornings and run in the afternoons... but since it is Friday and I want to do a long ride on Saturday I went for a morning jog.

Run-Ride

Yesterdays run went pretty good, I went 1.5 miles at a pretty decent pace without stopping... so I am happy about that :)
Then this morning I woke up at 4:50 this morning to go riding with my friend Sal and that ALSO was a good ride :) It feels great to be on the bike again! :)

Run or Bike?

I was an avid runner before becoming a cyclist. There is a Duathlon that I did last year that KILLED me because I had not run in such a LONG>>> time! so this time I HOPE that I can do a little running so that I won't suffer as much! :)

Japan and E-Bay

I just sold this frame on E-bay to a guy in Japan...

When I ship the frame over he wants me to put that the frame is worth 180bucks so that Japan won't tax him more!
